Mr KJ Selala is the founder and managing director of KJ Selala Attorneys, based in Springs on the East Rand.
He began his legal career as a public prosecutor with the National Prosecuting Authority in 1999 — gaining courtroom experience from the ground up. In 2006, he was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa, a position he held until 2017, appearing in the Labour Court, multiple divisions of the High Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal, and the Constitutional Court.
Mr Selala has lectured law at universities across South Africa, with a focus on labour law and employment law research. He has published articles in local and international academic journals.
